Configuration and Installation

1. Install the Global Exchange Rates solution using the provided deployable package. You can find the deployable package below in the Downloads section. The instructions on how to install a deployable package are available at the following link: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/fin-ops-core/dev-itpro/deployment/applydeployable-package-system
2. Open the Developer API Portal and subscribe to the Enterprise plan. It is possibile to activate a 7 day free trial.
3. Configure “Global Exchange Rates” as the exchange rates provider in Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
4. Select the central bank that should be used and enter the API Key.
5. Run the import job or schedule it to upload the updated exchange rates.

Downloads

The solution is provided as a deployable package (.zip), which can be directly uploaded to the Asset Library in LCS and then deployed to the D365F&O environment.
